Lemon Pip Digital to Raise £5,000 for Child Bereavement UK in 2025

Lemon Pip Digital is proud to announce its commitment to raising £5,000 by the end of 2025 for Child Bereavement UK, a charity close to our hearts.

Child Bereavement UK provides vital support to families affected by the loss of a child or the death of a parent, offering a lifeline during the most difficult times in life. Every year, thousands of children in the UK experience the devastating loss of a loved one, and the emotional impact can be profound and long-lasting.

Child Bereavement UK has been supporting families since 1994, offering a range of services, from counselling and support groups to professional training and educational resources for schools. The charity’s work is crucial in helping children and families navigate their grief and find hope for the future.

Dawn, the founder of Lemon Pip Digital, shares her personal connection to the cause: “I became parentless at twelve, after the sudden loss of my mum. It was an experience no child or parent could ever prepare for.

At the time, there was no support from educational authorities, and my grandparents, who took me in as my guardians, received no help either. This is why Child Bereavement UK is so important. Raising £5,000 is not just about the money - it’s about raising awareness and standing in solidarity with those going through the incredibly difficult journey of grief.”

The £5,000 target will be raised through a variety of fundraising activities, including volunteering at events organised by Child Bereavement UK and online donations, with the following events lined up:

• White Collar Fighter Charity Boxing Match: Lemon Pip Digital will take part in an exhilarating charity boxing match, training intensively for eight weeks to raise funds and awareness for the cause.

• Three Peaks in 24 Hours Challenge: Our team will push physical limits by attempting to climb the three highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales within 24 hours.

• Jurassic Coast 100km Ultra: A challenging 100km along the stunning but demanding Jurassic Coast, Lemon Pip Digital will test their endurance while raising vital funds.

• Great North 10k: Lemon Pip Digital will train and participate in the Great North 10k, a challenging race to help raise money while promoting healthy living.

• Sponsored Fire Walk: Lemon Pip Digital will face their fears and walk barefoot over hot coals, demonstrating the team’s commitment to overcoming obstacles to achieve our fundraising goal.
